André LaFreniere

Bio:

André LaFreniere has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in the medical technology industry with experiences spanning multi-national pharmaceutical companies, global contract manufacturing organizations, and specialized medical technology development consultancies. Within these experiences, André has worked extensively with multiple technology variants for drug delivery, therapy adherence, predictive algorithms, biomaterials processing, and point of care diagnostics. This collective knowledge base has resulted in André regularly being leveraged as a trusted advisor to leading R&D organizations for the design and execution of collaborative technology development programs to advance first of its kind innovation to the market.

André currently leads Battelle’s medical technologies team which regularly tackles first generation and next generation technology challenges in the drug delivery space inclusive of injection, inhalation, mucosal, oral, topical, intra-venous, intrathecal, ICM/ICV, and direct to organ modalities.  André has an MBA from Vanderbilt University and an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Indiana University.
