Bio:

Chris Rhodes is CEO and Founder of Propel Biologics, where he is developing OraJect™ — a next-generation oral delivery platform for biologics. He brings more than 30 years of R&D and executive leadership across pharmaceutical, biotech, and drug delivery companies, with technical depth in peptides, proteins, oligonucleotides, antibodies, and long-acting injectables. He has contributed to the development of marketed products including Afrezza, Bydureon, Byetta, Myalept, and Lusedra, and founded Baywind Bioventures, Drug Delivery Experts, Sensulin, and CASS Pharmaceuticals. His most recent venture Drug Delivery Experts was sold after seven years to a strategic at a significant multiple of EBITDA. Propel Bio emerged from his venture incubator Baywind Bioventures. Chris contributes to the development of the drug delivery and biopharmaceutical ecosystem through emerging and growth-stage company advising and board work, as well as academic advisory board positions.
