Christopher Worrall PhD

Bio:

Dr. Christopher P. Worrall joined Nanoform in May 2021 as Vice President of U.S. Business Development. He brings more than 18 years of specialized experience in particle engineering and pharmaceutical solid‑form science. Throughout his career, Dr. Worrall has contributed to the development of 11 commercial pharmaceutical products and is an inventor on numerous patents spanning liquid crystals, organic semiconductors, and pharmaceutical solid forms. Dr. Worrall held positions at JM, SAFC and Merck KGaA, where he focused on solid form science, design and scale‑up of organic syntheses for GMP production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and advanced materials for display technologies. He earned his PhD in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and has published papers on atropisomerism and enantioselective synthesis.
