Bio:
Douglas is a seasoned leader, with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Currently serving as Senior Director, Product Management, Integrated Systems at West Pharmaceutical Services, he drives the strategic vision through commercialization of innovations in injectable drug delivery including the recent launch of West Synchrony™ S1 prefillable syringe (PFS) system. He is a recognized thought leader with a host of publications on topics including Prefillable Syringes, Intravitreal Injections, Extractables and Leachables, Material Science Innovation and Visual Non-Conformities in Parenteral Packaging. Along with holding a Bachelors in Organic Chemistry from Rutgers University, he maintains numerous board level roles and volunteers at universities across the country supporting the next generation of engineers entering into the workplace.
