Gabe Meister, PhD

Bio:

Gabe Meister, Battelle’s Senior Research Leader in the Drug Development and Precision Diagnostics business, is responsible for leading and executing basic and applied research supporting the discovery, development, and regulated studies supporting advancement of promising medical technologies. Over the past two decades, his primary focus has been translating innovative technologies – to include vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics – to prepare the U.S. for response to emerging infectious diseases and public health concerns. Gabe currently serves as Technical Director of the Battelle Advanced Medicines Program and oversees an R&D portfolio supporting the development and application of new technologies, products, and services to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into societal impact. Gabe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Heidelberg College and a PhD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health.
