Jatin Sood, PhD

Jatin Sood, Ph.D., is a pharmaceutical scientist and R&D leader specializing in advanced drug delivery systems, with expertise in film-based systems for oral and transdermal delivery. Over his 14 years of academic and industrial experience, he has focused on developing innovative formulations that improve bioavailability, enhance patient compliance, and address complex therapeutic challenges through novel dosage form design. He has worked extensively on lipid-based systems, semi-solids dosage forms, and film type systems for oral, topical and transdermal delivery.

 

As R&D Group Leader at ARx, LLC, he leads the Formulation team to develop Oral films for sublingual, buccal and local applications and channelizes the project from concept to commercialization. Over the course of his career, he has built deep expertise in formulation characterization, In-vitro release, ex-vivo permeation, dissolution studies, stability testing, while applying principles of Quality by Design to optimize product performance. A significant portion of Jatin's scientific contributions has been dedicated to lipid-based and film-enabled drug delivery systems.
