Jeremy Harris, PhD

Bio:

Jeremy Harris is the Senior Director of Research at Secant Group, part of the Solesis family of companies, where he leads the Research, Translational Product Development and Analytical Services teams that drive scientific innovation specifically around novel biomaterials development for healthcare applications. With decades of biomaterials expertise, Jeremy has led the development of Secant’s Hydralese® platform to address challenges in long-acting drug release, nucleic acid payload delivery and medical device applications. Most recently he guided the development of the Hydralese®Tx platform using resorbable polyplex nanoparticle systems for applications including cell and gene therapy, ocular indications, bioprocessing, and in vivo payload delivery.

Jeremy earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The College of Wooster.
