Bio:

Jill Steinbach-Rankins, Ph.D., is a biopharma innovation and strategic partnerships leader with over 15 years of experience driving cross-sector alliances, evaluating external technologies, advancing novel drug delivery initiatives, and translating research across industry and academia. Most recently, she served as Senior Associate Director of Innovation Technology at Boehringer Ingelheim, where she spearheaded strategic external partnerships and evaluated emerging platforms and advanced technologies to advance corporate pipelines. 
Prior to her industry tenure, Dr. Steinbach-Rankins was a tenured Associate Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Louisville, directing a translational research program focused on targeted mucosal drug delivery, nanomedicine, and biomaterials. Recognized with multiple leadership and innovation awards across industry and academia, she holds multiple patent applications, has authored over 50 publications, and remains active in the drug delivery community, including leadership roles within the Controlled Release Society (CRS) and previously with the Subcutaneous Drug Development & Delivery Consortium.
