Director, Combination Product & Device Development
Bio:
Matt is a senior leader in combination product development with expertise in drug-device systems, primary container technologies, and integrated delivery platforms across the full product lifecycle—from early concept through commercialization and lifecycle management. He brings extensive experience defining and executing device and container strategies for prefilled syringes, cartridges, vials, autoinjectors, and related delivery systems, with a focus on clinical readiness, technical robustness, successful launch, and long-term supply continuity. He most recently led the development of an intravitreal eye injection, used to treat geographic atrophy (GA), the dry advanced form of age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Recognized for leading design control execution and advancing risk management, verification and validation strategies, technical investigations, and regulatory submission support within regulated biotech, and medical device environments. Adept at translating molecule, formulation, and program requirements into pragmatic, integrated development strategies that align drug product, primary container, and delivery device considerations.
