Dr. Swinney is a strategy, innovation, and product development executive with more than 22 years of experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and combination products. She has led teams at Gilead Sciences, Eli Lilly, Becton Dickinson, Dexcom, and Johnson & Johnson. The recipient of many industry awards for excellence in innovation and product development, and an inventor on more than 100 patents, she holds a Ph.D in polymers from MIT and a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts.
