Roshan James, PhD

Bio:

Roshan James is a Sr. Principal Scientist in Drug Product Development and Technology (DPDT) group at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. He has 14+ years of experience in parenteral drug product development, including long-acting injectables, drug delivery systems, small molecule and biologic formulations for various routes of administration. He has successfully guided injectable drug products from product development to pilot batches and scaled them to commercial launch. In addition, he has contributed to numerous patents and publications including during his past work at American Regent (a Daiichi Sankyo Group Company), The University of Connecticut, and the University of Virginia. At this year’s PODD conference, he will be sharing insights on drug delivery technologies, innovation, and considerations for scale-up. Outside of work he enjoys travel and a beach getaway.

He received his Bachelor’s in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur), India and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, VA, USA.
