Director

GSK

Bio:

Ruchi Shah is a pharmaceutical development leader with more than 10 years of experience in nucleic acid delivery, gene editing, vaccines, and biologics. Her expertise centers on non-viral delivery technologies, with a focus on formulation, analytical development, and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).

Ruchi began her career at GSK Vaccines in 2015, working on self-amplifying RNA delivery for vaccines. She subsequently held roles at Intellia Therapeutics and Moderna Therapeutics, advancing LNP delivery for CRISPR-Cas9 therapeutics and high-throughput screening technologies. At Eli Lilly and Company, she led internal and external programs developing LNP formulations across a diverse portfolio of RNA therapeutics. She later joined EMD Millipore Corporation as LNP Formulation Director, leading a team focused on lipid design innovation and high-throughput experimentation.

In February 2025, Ruchi returned to GSK to lead the Drug Product team at the Cambridge site, supporting early-phase development of vaccines and therapeutics through formulation, analytical, and drug product strategies.
