Shaun Knights, MSc

Bio:

Shaun has over 25 years of experience in quality across the telecoms, automotive and medical device sectors, with a career spanning senior roles in multi-national corporations including Siemens Healthineers and Philips AVENT, as well as consultancy engagements. His work has taken him across the UK, EU, US and Asia, giving him a broad, internationally grounded perspective. His career has predominantly been in Quality and Operational Excellence roles within manufacturing and R&D functions.

Shaun is currently VP of Business Development Operations at Calla Lily Clinical Care Ltd. (CLCC), a London-based med-tech start-up and Certified B Corporation. In this role, he holds overall responsibility for quality, manufacturing, supply chain and business development functions, having established the company's Quality Management System from the ground up and led its first US 510(k) clearance.

Throughout his career, Shaun has built deep expertise in quality management within the automotive and medical device sectors. He is a certified Lead Auditor to both ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and has led large, multi-tiered quality teams across geographically dispersed sites, bringing consistent standards and continuous improvement to complex, cross-border operations.

Shaun holds a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (through BQF and Philips), is a qualified EFQM assessor, and holds an MSc in Automotive Engineering Design, Manufacture and Management. His combination of hands-on operational leadership and consultancy experience across multiple industries and regions positions him as a versatile leader in quality and business development.
