Steve Mager

Bio:

Steve Mager is Director, Combination Product Development at Vera Therapeutics, where he leads the company's drug delivery device strategy. His work includes the autoinjector combination product for atacicept, which Vera launched commercially in July 2026, from design controls and human factors through regulatory submission and commercial readiness. Steve brings 30 years of experience across medical devices and combination products. Before joining Vera, he was Senior Director of Combination Products Development at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he led device development, human factors engineering, and sustaining engineering for combination products across multiple therapeutic areas. Earlier in his career, Steve held quality and engineering leadership roles at Getinge, Medline Industries, AngioDynamics, and Boston Scientific. His expertise includes design controls, process validation, risk management, and statistical techniques. Steve holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA from Northeastern University, and is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
