Tom Foran, BSc (Hons)

Bio:

Tom Foran is Head of Finished Product (Strategy and Execution) within the Combination Products and Devices group at Alvotech, where he leads strategic planning for future finished products, including new drug-delivery device technologies and their development for Alvotech’s biosimilar pipeline.

Tom is an experienced product development professional with more than 20 years’ experience spanning product innovation, design, development and commercialisation across the consumer and medical device industries. His career has encompassed a diverse range of products, from robotic vacuum cleaners to blood-plasma separation/treatment and surgical devices.

For the past 12 years, Tom has specialised in Combination Products, through roles at Alvotech and previously at Viatris/Mylan. He brings extensive experience in translating innovative concepts into commercially viable products, with a particular focus on device development and drug-delivery technologies.

Tom holds a BSc (Hons) in Engineering Product Design from Middlesex University.
