Bio:

Venkata Krishna Kowthavarapu, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist within the Biopharmaceutics group at Sanofi, where he focuses on the biopharmaceutics characterization of drug products to inform formulation strategy selection, establish formulation bridging strategies, and support the development of clinically relevant drug product specifications. His research interests include mechanistic modeling, PBBM/PBPK, in vitro–in vivo translation, special populations, and early biopharmaceutics risk assessment, with a focus on leveraging modeling and simulation to improve the predictability of drug product performance. He received his Ph.D. from BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, India, and has authored or co-authored 30+ peer-reviewed publications, three book chapters, and one granted patent. He also serves as a reviewer for leading scientific journals and as Guest Editor for Bioengineering.
