Yoshiyuki Nakagawa, Ph.D. is in charge of Business Development, leveraging his background in Biomaterials, Polymer Science, and Chemical Engineering. He is currently involved in advancing the business development of the innovative pharmaceutical excipient hyaluronic acid nanogel, Sonanos™, at Asahi Kasei Corporation.
Yoshiyuki Nakagawa had six years of academic research experience in biomaterials (2012-2018), during which time he also served as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Research Fellow from 2016 to 2018. Having earned his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2018, he transitioned to a pivotal role in the development and commercialization of hyaluronic acid nanogel, Sonanos™, which is a cutting-edge pharmaceutical excipient serves as an API carrier, facilitating sustained release or solubility enhancement of APIs.
