Ýrr Mørch, PhD

Bio:

Yrr Mørch, PhD, is CTO and co-founder of NaDeNo Nanoscience and a specialist in nanomedicine, drug delivery and polymeric materials. She is one of the inventors of NaDeNo’s polymeric nanoparticle technology, developed through more than a decade of research at SINTEF in Norway.

Yrr holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), specializing in biotechnology, and a PhD in biopolymer chemistry and cell therapy. At SINTEF, she led numerous national, international and industry-funded research projects, headed the strategic research area in nanomedicine, and served as lead scientist for the nanoformulation platform that later formed the basis of NaDeNo.

Her experience spans novel polymeric materials, nanoparticle formulation and characterization, CMC, preclinical development and regulatory translation. At NaDeNo, she leads technology and development activities for both the company’s platform and its lead nanoparticle drug product, which has progressed through GMP manufacture and regulatory preparation toward first-in-human clinical development.

She is an author of more than 50 scientific publications and an inventor on multiple patent families in nanomedicine and drug delivery.
