For advanced modalities, like gene therapies, you often need a device to deliver the therapy before the delivery physics, formulation, procedure and user needs are well understood. When this happens, how do drug development teams build confidence in their therapy without compounding risk, cost and development time? Drawing on our experience in ophthalmic delivery, this talk shares TTP’s experience in developing phase-appropriate drug delivery tools, experiments and evidence that allow the device to mature alongside the drug development.
