Ingyu Kim, PhD

Bio:

Ingyu Kim, Ph.D., is Director of Business Development Team 1 at G2GBIO Inc., a Korean drug delivery company developing long-acting injectables (LAIs) with its proprietary InnoLAMP™ microsphere platform. He leads partnering with global pharmaceutical companies on long-acting formulations of small molecules, peptides and biologics, from feasibility through co-development and licensing.

Since joining G2GBIO in 2022, Ingyu has held roles across cell-based efficacy studies, research planning and management, global alliance, and market intelligence & strategy. This path gives him a view of the platform from the laboratory to the deal table, helping partners connect formulation science and clinical data with product and commercial goals.

Before G2GBIO, he spent more than a decade in translational cancer research. He was a Research Assistant Professor at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University in Korea, and spent nearly seven years at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, D.C. in US, as a Postdoctoral Fellow and later Lab Manager. His research on tumor metastasis, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and chemoresistance has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
