Sabine Ott, PhD

Bio:

Sabine is Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Business Officer at SmartCella, bringing more than 20 years of business development and licensing experience in cell and gene therapy (CGT) and oncology. Over her career, she has closed numerous strategic partnerships and licensing deals with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, spanning both technology licenses and research collaborations. Most recently, she built and led the licensing division at Sirion Biotech and, following its acquisition by Revvity, managed the commercialization of Revvity's broader CGT technology portfolio. She previously held business development and commercial roles at biotech companies focused on oncology, regenerative medicine, and molecular diagnostics. Sabine holds a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Konstanz and a Diploma in molecular biology from the University of Konstanz and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
